Stepped Greens

'Stepped Greens' ,is a landscape project in Jamnagar, Gujarat. Here we designed two similar terrace gardens for a residential apartment.

 

There were two apartments on two storeys with terraces planned alternately. The brief was to design a subtle low maintanance garden with a modern contemporary aesthetic.

We planned the soft scape in Tier Formation. In the front planter there are bushy species while at the back are the heighted ones. There are creepers planted at the back , which would turn the wall into green with the passage of time. The planters are of FRP  which we customized it from a factory in Jetpur , Gujarat. We designed a cozy niche space in one of the corners of the coverd part , with Areca Palms planted making it an oxygen rich zone.
