Luxuria

'Luxuria' is a residential apartment project located in Jamnagar ,Gujarat. The design brief included a luxurious 4bhk apartment, as the name suggests. 

 

This is a 11 storeyed building with a single basement parking having three units on each floor. The internal planning of the units are done keeping the idea of luxury into consideration, not compromising on light and ventilation.Two of the units are having similar planning and mirror opposite in situation where as the third unit is different in size as well as planning. We have focused more upon planning the balconies as semi open spaces are always appreciated by the residents.

The interiors are kept subtle by the use of beige and wood. One gets the feeling of distinct spaces by the use of materials. The Italian marble in the semi private spaces gives the feel of luxury and keeping it cool while the wooden flooring in master bedrooms adds to the warmth.

'Less is More' by Mies Van Der Rohe inspired us in designing the facade of this project , where it is all about the use of color and the metal fins keeping it simple yet beautiful. The metal fins on the ducts are having a pattern which we follow in the interiors as well as in the other details of the project.

We designed the common amenities keeping in mind the user group by utilizing one full unit of the residence on the first floor for the common development. There is a gym,indoor games and a home theater opening up into a beautiful terrace garden. Adding to it we have designed a garden and a yoga deck at terrace level having a beautiful view of the city from the height.
