The Lawyer's Office
Law Of Transparency

We designed this 1100 Sqft office area for a legal firm where we obtained the space in a residential building that is 25 years old. Considering the site situations and understanding the existing challenges that included deep beam heights leading to reduced clear height and a residential beam grid, it limited our planning opportunities but that's where we did the exploration and the existing situations guided for an open planning with light and visual connects.
We chose to tackle the challenge by using glass as the primary material for partitioning areas, aiming to give the office a more spacious appearance. The standout feature of this area is that no matter where someone is in the office, they can view the opposite end from any position.
Materials were crucial throughout the design process since we only utilized a few resources such as wood, brass, and white as the primary color. The use of jute and concrete finishes brings texture to the space in certain areas. Owing to several restrictions, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the design, enabling us to concentrate on usability, which resulted in a utility-focused yet elegant spatial design.
We added a Louvre window featuring fluted glass that divides the two director cabins, enhancing the sense of connectivity between them while allowing natural light to flow through the office.
